Hangya Roland

I am the founder of Adventures in Austria. For several years now I have been living in the Salzkammergut in Upper Austria, which is in the immediate vicinity of the beautiful Hallstatt Lake and the 2995m high peak of the Dachstein.

I've hiked so many mountains in the area and have had so many wonderful experiences. That's where I got the idea that maybe others would like to experience what this area has to offer.

Over the years I have learned a lot, experienced a lot and pushed my limits to learn more about myself and the mountains.

I have completed the following training to enable me to guide and teach nature lovers safely:

-Canyoning guide (OÖ Berg- und Skiführerverband)

-Austrian Mountain Leader (OÖ Berg- und Skiführerverband)

-Climbing instructor (Naturfreunde Österreich)

-Snowboard Provincial Instructor (OÖ Ski- und Snowboardlehrerverband)

-Alpine training (OÖ Ski- und Snowboardlehrerverband)

-Outdoor First Aid course (Rotes Kreuz OÖ)

-Water Rescue Course (OÖ Wasserrettung)

MY PHILOSOPHY

VARIED ADVENTURES FOR ALL

I feel it is my mission that everyone, regardless of gender and age, should experience at least once in their lives what it is like to leave their comfort zone. And in a safe environment.

I organise leisure activities that sometimes require courage and perseverance, but thanks to this, my guests can return home with an experience of a lifetime.

In today's fast-paced world, we don't have time to slow down or stop, so life "runs by". The world of the internet and smartphones narrows our horizons and we miss the beautiful things.

The good news is that nature and extreme sports are the perfect remedies for these everyday problems.

I only use quality equipment and I check the condition of the equipment on a regular basis. Our lives may depend on our equipment, so damaged or worn items are scrapped immediately. They comply with UIAA and EN standards.

Qualified Guide

An internationally recognised examiner, he studied at the Association of Mountain Guides of Upper Austria and is currently an active member of the organisation. My tours are characterised by organisation and a high level of safety.

IT'S A WAY OF LIFE

On weekdays, when I'm not "working", I look for pleasure and adventure in the same sports. So I can say that my work is also my hobby. This has many advantages that I can use when I go out with guests.
